Prime Picks

NCIS (CBS): Season Finale. Gibbs is forced to make a decision. Ziva meets with her father.

The Mentalist (CBS): Season Finale. It looks like Red John might be back, but Lisbon thinks the Jane is being drawn into a trap. Runs 61 minutes.

Without a Trace (CBS): Season Finale. A man goes missing after an ocean dive. Danny and Elena make take things to the next level. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

Solid Selections

Reaper (The CW): New. The gang tries to get Nina to go back to hell and get info from Sam’s father.

Glee (FOX): Season Premiere. An optimistic teacher thinks he can overhaul the school’s fledgling glee club. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes. I’ve heard that this is good, but either way we’ll have to wait until fall for new episodes.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): New. Benson and Stabler are asked by a judge to see if they can get the location of his son’s body from a convicted serial killer.

Cable Choices

Good Eats (Food Network): Repeats. Alton brews up some soup stock and then makes some soups. Both episodes play again later.

Food Detectives (Food Network): Repeat. The “Effects of MSG” are tested. Plays again later.
Ace of Cakes (Food Network): Repeat. Duff and the gang make a moon cake. Plays again later.

The Office (TBS): Repeat. “Goodbye, Toby, Part 1” replays, where Michael wants to really celebrate Toby’s departure. “Goodbye, Toby, Part 2” replays right after My Boys.
My Boys (TBS): New. P.J. makes friends with one of Stephanie’s friends, while the guys try to introduce a new friend to the group. Runs 31 minutes. Plays again late night tomorrow and Friday.

Other Options

  • 90210 (The CW): Season Finale. Navid takes Adrianna to the hospital. Naomi has the after-prom party at her house. Ethan and Dixon get into it. This episode ratchets things up a bit from a regular episode. A lot happens, which included a couple of things that didn’t make sense, well at least to me. If you like the show, you’ll probably like this episode.
  • American Idol (FOX): New. The final two contestants sing for your votes. Runs 61 minutes.
  • Bones (TNT): Repeat. The “Cinderella in Cardboard” from earlier this season on FOX replays.
  • Rescue Me (FX): New. Tommy and Janet have to spend the weekend together. Teddy and Maggie get an indecent proposition. Runs 61 minutes. Plays twice.
