Over on cable, Comedy Central has the first season finale of Michael & Michael Have Issues and History has the third season finale of MonsterQuest.

Prime Picks

Leverage (TNT): Repeat. Last week’s episode, “The Top Hat Job,” replays, where the team takes over the entertainment for a large food company’s annual state of the company address.

Leverage (TNT): New. The team sets out to retrieve and return a painting, but finds that another crew is after it as well. This is a great episode with great guest stars like Griffin Dunne and Wil Wheaton as parts of the other crew. This is definitely the best episode of the season. Plays again later. This is the episode that they were filming when I got to visit the set back at the end of June. It was originally schedule to be the summer finale, but we now have two more episodes to look forward to. Check out the interviews from the visit with star Christian Kane and writer, executive producer and co-creator John Rogers from the set visit.

Dark Blue (TNT): New. Carter is using his team to go after a bad cop, but the whole thing sits bad with Ty. Plays again later.

Solid Selections

The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): Repeat. In “Hair” from this past season, Christine decides that maybe Ritchie should just go to public school.
Gary Unmarried (CBS): Repeat. In “Gary and Allison’s Restaurant” from this past season, Gary takes Vanessa to a restaurant that he used to go to all the time with his ex-wife.

Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns (TBS): New. Two new episodes play. In the first, we “Meet the Sweet Tooth.” In the second, we “Meet the Matrimony.”

Dinner: Impossible (Food Network): New. Robert has only nine hours to put his own twist on amusement park favorites. Plays again later.

Other Option

  • Michael & Michael Have Issues (Comedy Central): Season Finale. The two Michaels make an appearance on another sketch show. Plays again later.

  • ESPN2 has Wednesday Night Baseball with the Texas Rangers at the New York Yankees.

  • 10 Things I Hate About You (ABC Family): Repeat. Last night’s episode, “Dance Little Sister,” replays.
  • Royal Pains (USA): Repeat. This past Sunday night’s episode, “Nobody’s Perfect,” replays.
