Over on cable, IFC has the second season finale of Comedy Bang! Bang! and the first season finale of The Birthday Boys, TLC has a Say Yes to the Dress: Randy’s Top Trends, and TNT has a Christmas in Washington 2013 special.

Blue Bloods (CBS): New. Danny has to investigate an old childhood friend that may have ties to the mob. Frank deals with a recent judicial ruling that may actually be attributing to a rise in crime.

The Carrie Diaries (The CW): New. Carrie finds out that the piece she is working on may be her last chance to get into the magazine. Maggie is working up to telling her father the truth.
Hawaii Five-0 (CBS): New. Chin’s life is put in danger during an investigation of a serial killer.
Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): Repeats. The “Multitaskers” and “Upper Crust” episodes replay. Three episodes replay before and another after. All six play again later.
Other Option
- It’s a Wonderful Life (NBC): Movie. The classic holiday tale about a suicidal man, played by James Stewart, that gets a chance to see what life would have been like had he not be alive thanks to his guardian angel. Runs three hours.

- ESPN has doubleheader NBA action tonight with the Houston Rockets at the Indiana Pacers followed by the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Los Angeles Lakers.

- Masters of Sex (Showtime): Repeat. This past Sunday night’s first season finale episode, “Elvis Has Left the Building,” replays.
