Over on cable, CNBC has the third season finale of Restaurant Startup, Cooking Channel has the series premiere of Extra Virgin Americana, Disney XD has the series premiere of Lab Rats: Elite Force, SundanceTV has the series premiere of Hap & Leonard, truTV has The Carbonaro Effect: Critter Countdown special, and USA Network has the fifth season finale of Suits.

Young & Hungry (Freeform): New. Gabi wonders what Josh is talking about during his therapy sessions. Runs 30 minutes.
Baby Daddy (Freeform): New. Everyone is trying to figure out how people feel about each other and misunderstanding run rampant. Runs 30 minutes.

Modern Family (ABC): New. Jay and Gloria are having trouble sleeping. Claire seems to have figured out how to balance work and home. Runs 31 minutes.

Younger (TV Land): New. Liza goes after an author that wrote a minimalists manifesto. Runs 30 minutes. Plays again later.

Solid Selections

Rosewood (FOX): Winter Premiere. Rosewood and Villa continue pursuing a serial killer. This has Villa putting the brakes on things with Mike. Hornstock could be the next chief.

Criminal Minds (CBS): New. The team searches for Morgan after he is abducted.

Suits (USA Network): Season Finale. Mike takes a last ditch shot when it looks like his case could go either way. Runs 64 minutes. Plays again later.

Other Options

  • Hap & Leonard (SundanceTV): Series Premiere. Set in the 1980s, where a white draft dodger and a gay black Vietnam vet take on a plan for a big score in Texas. Plays again later.
  • The Magicians (Syfy): Repeat. This past Monday night’s episode, “The Mayakovsky Circumstance,” replays.
  • The Real O’Neals (ABC): Series Premiere. Two episodes play tonight, one before and one after Modern Family. In the first episode, a seemingly perfect family ends up spilling all their secrets. In the second, the family begins to deal with the ramifications of recent reveals. Didn’t particularly care for the first episode and so didn’t watch the second. Have heard from others that watched further that is starts to show a little potential around episode four. Will you be checking this one out tonight?

  • CBS Sports has tripleheader men’s college basketball action tonight with Davidson at Virginia Commonwealth, Creighton at Providence and Colorado State at Fresno State.
  • ESPN has doubleheader NBA action tonight.
  • ESPN2 has doubleheader men’s college basketball action tonight with Miami at Notre Dame followed by Oregon at UCLA.
  • ESPNU has tripleheader men’s college basketball action tonight with Texas Tech at West Virginia, East Carolina at South Florida and Washington State at Washington.
  • FS1 has doubleheader men’s college basketball action tonight with Seton Hall at Butler followed by Oregon State at USC.
