NCAA FootballTonight, ION has the TV movie premiere of A Firehouse Christmas.

Over on cable, FS1 has the 24th season finale of The Ultimate Fighter, Hallmark Channel has the TV movie premiere of A Dream of Christmas, HBO has the Pete Holmes: Faces and Sounds comedy special, History has a Pearl Harbor: 75 Years Later special, and Lifetime has the TV movie premiere of Heaven Sent.

Prime Picks

Insecure (HBO2): Repeat. This past Sunday night’s first season finale episode, “Broken as F**k,” replays. Starts at the half hour and runs 30 minutes. The previous seven episodes of season one replay right before.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency (BBC America): New. Everything comes to a head. Plays again later.

Pete Holmes: Faces and Sounds (HBO): New Comedy Special. Comedian Pete Holmes performed at the Vic Theatre in Chicago where he covered topics like sleeping, strip clubs, what to wear when flying and going to a concert.

Sports Notes

  • ABC has the American Athletic Football Championship today with Temple at Navy and later tonight has Saturday Night College Football with the ACC Football Championship with Clemson vs. Virginia Tech.
  • CBS has college basketball action with UCLA at Kentucky and later the SEC Football Championship with Alabama vs. Florida.
  • CBS Sports has tripleheader college basketball action today with St. Joseph’s at Villanova, Virginia Commonwealth vs. Illinois and Wichita State at Colorado State.
  • ESPN has the Conference USA Football Championship with Louisiana Tech at Western Kentucky followed by doubleheader college basketball action with Stanford at Kansas followed by Gonzaga vs. Arizona and later tonight has the Mountain West Football Championship with San Diego State at Wyoming.
  • ESPN2 has college football action today with Troy at Georgia Southern and then doubleheader college basketball action with Xavier at Baylor followed by Maine at Duke and the more college football action tonight with Arkansas State at Texas State.

  • Doctor Who: The Power of the Daleks (BBC America): New. Part 3 of 6. This is the completely missing third serial of the fourth season, which was first broadcast in six weekly parts from November 5th thru December 10th, 1966. Runs 35 minutes.
  • Saturday Night Live (NBC): New. Emma Stone hosts with musical guest Shawn Mendes.
  • Shooter (USA Network): Repeat. This past Tuesday’s episode, “Musa Qala,” replays. The previous two episodes replay right before.
  • Westworld (HBO): Repeat. This past Sunday’s episode, “The Well-Tempered Clavier,” replays.
