What TV shows are worth watching tonight? Given the shortage of quality shows to choose from the following is the best the TVaholic could do.

Prime Picks

What I Like About You (WB): Tonight Val goes out with Charlie who is played by Jason Priestley in an attempt to persuade Vic into signing the annulment papers.
Twins (WB): This show has gotten a little better since the first episode.

Threshold (CBS): Tonight a DJ gets infected from the signal and then starts to incorporate it into her dance music and Molly and her team have to find her before she can spread it further.

Numb3rs (CBS): How will math help solve this weeks case? We shall see when Don asks Charlie for help in narrowing down a list of potential suspects when the head of an energy corporation is murdered and found on her doorstep before she was able to testify in an upcoming trial of stock fraud.

Solid Selections

WWE Friday Night Smackdown! (UPN): It is a said thing for a night of TV when the second best selection for the night is two hours of wacky wrestling.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Tonight in the third hour of primetime is a repeat of this season’s opener where Goren deals with his always seems to get away nemesis while he and Eames are investigating the murder of a health inspector.

Other Options

Ghost Whisperer (CBS): Enough people for some reason are watching this show on Friday night in the first hour of primetime that CBS has seen fit to pick it up for the entire season.

Reba (WB): Last weeks episode was on of the funniest in a while for this show.
Living with Fran (WB): This show while not great usually has more laughs than last weeks premiere of Hot Properties which is on at the same time on ABC.

20/20 (ABC): Tips and myths about staying well during flu season are explored.

Cable Choices

Fabulous Life of … (VH1): Tonight see how the pets of celebrities get treated to the finer things.

$40-a-Day (Food Network): Watch Rachael Ray in this repeat episode as she tries to keep to her budget in Telluride, Colorado.
Rachael Ray’s Tasty Travels (Food Network): What is eaten in Las Vegas hopefully tastes really good. Take a culinary tour of Las Vegas with your perky food guide Rachael Ray.

Nip/Tuck (FX): Christian doubts the story of the latest Carver victim and the wife of an Alzheimer’s patient requests an extreme makeover.

Notes

The White Sox and Angels face off tonight on Fox in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series.
