CBS has all new episodes tonight and ABC is replaying A Charlie Brown Christmas. What will you be watching on this fine Friday night? Check out the recommendations below for some ideas.

Prime Picks

What I Like About You (WB): Repeat of last weeks episode with the, is Vic OK cliffhanger.
A Scooby-Doo Christmas (WB): The gang investigates a headless snowman that is haunting a small town.

Close to Home (CBS): A baseball player commits murder after the game but is there more to the story.

NUMB3RS (CBS): Bill Nye the Science Guy who got his start on a late night show up here in Seattle called Almost Live before his national children’s show guest stars tonight. The episode deals with someone who is setting fires.

Solid Selections

A Charlie Brown Christmas (ABC): This will be the second showing this Christmas Season. I guess in honor of it being the 40th anniversary.

Reba (WB): Repeat of last week’s episode where Reba and Van go to occupational therapy.
Hot Properties (ABC): This show has been cancelled but it is a new episode being aired as they burn them off I guess.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Repeat of where the Detectives of the Major Case squad suspect a good friend of the Captains.

Other Options

Dateline NBC (NBC): Two hours of NBC News investigative reporting.

20/20 (ABC): One hour of ABCNews investigative reporting.

Cable Choices

Jingle All the Way (ABC Family): Arnold Schwarzenegger in the hunt for the perfect gift for his son. Two hours of slapstick Christmas comedy.

Monk (USA): Repeat of Mr. Monk Goes to the Office.

Sports Notes

A little NBA Basketball action on ESPN tonight as the Miami Heat, now under the coaching reins of Pat Riley once again, face off against the Philadelphia 76ers in the early game followed by the Washington Wizards at the Los Angeles Lakers in the late game.
