A few professional poker players make cameos on NUMB3RS tonight. With the return of Sci-Fi Friday on the Sci Fi Channel and Monk on USA along with some new shows now on Friday night there is actually a few things worth watching. What gets your TV juices flowing for a Friday night? Get an idea of what is on tonight below.
Prime Picks
Most Outrageous Moments (NBC): Funny clips, videos and bloopers.
Living With Fran (WB): Riley’s younger sister comes to visit and ends up married to Josh. This show has been off the air for a while. Don’t know if it is canceled and just burning off episodes or if it is back.
In Justice (ABC): A woman who is the sister to a convicted murderer comes to the Justice Project for help.
NUMB3RS (CBS): Annie Duke makes a cameo as a card dealer at a card club where some college students are using their math skills to count cards putting their lives in danger. The team has to figure out how the scheme works.
Solid Selections
Ghost Whisperer (CBS): An executed prisoner asks Melinda for help for his daughter.
Close to Home (CBS): The judge throws out some evidence in a case so Annabeth has to find some new evidence to get the bad guy with.
The Book of Daniel (NBC): Still haven’t watched last weeks opener so don’t know if this is any good or not. Yet to read anybody else’s opinions about this show so really don’t know, as I don’t want limit my overall outside bias before watching it. Did any of you out there watch this last week? What did you think?
Other Options
Dancing With the Stars (ABC): Ahh…they have learned well from American Idol how to milk a results show. Why not I am sure more people will watch this whole hour than stuck around for Hope & Faith last week. If you have been watching this show could you tell me what the draw is for you? Cause, I just don’t see it, but would really like to know what people like about it.
Reba (WB): Barbara Jean is away so Reba is left to take care of Brock after he is diagnosed with kidney stones and comedy ensues.
Twins (WB): Lee takes Mitchee for a makeover at a salon before the big company anniversary party.
20/20 (ABC): ABC New investigative reports.
Cable Choices
Stargate SG-1 (Sci Fi): Mitchell is the victim of a new memory sharing technology.
What Not to Wear (TLC): A woman who knows about fashionable dogs in dog shows learns how to make herself a bit more graceful.
Monk (USA): Monk ends up at a fashion show where a murder has taken place. I bet he figures out who did it. I am extremely glad for a run of new episodes, as this is one of the great characters on TV right now.
Sports Notes
ESPN2 has the early NBA game with the Boston Celtics playing the Philadelphia 76ers. Following coverage of the Sony Open in Hawaii on ESPN the late NBA game will be the Miami Heat against my hometown Seattle SuperSonics which have really dropped off since their fun and somewhat surprising run last season.
