Veronica Mars - The Complete Second SeasonCan you believe it is less than a week until new fall shows begin to trickle out on the tube? Season two of Prison Break begins next Monday followed by the premiere of Vanished. Tonight you can get a double helping of the surly doc on House or the sleuth skills of Veronica Mars. Veronica Mars is probably the best show that not enough people are watching. Great characters, fun dialogue and intriguing mysteries, what else could you want from a TV show?

Prime Picks

House (FOX): Repeat. Part one of the two-part “Euphoria” episodes where Dr. Foreman contracts whatever is killing a policeman that he was treating.

House (FOX): Repeat. Part two of the two part “Euphoria” episodes where Dr. Foreman must come to grips with the fact that he may die. Charles S. Dutton guest stars as Foreman’s father whom he doesn’t get along with.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): Repeat. A financial aid dependent student is found dead with a lot of money on her.

Solid Selections

Veronica Mars (UPN): Repeat. Veronica helps Weevil find out who killed Felix once and for all.

Veronica Mars (UPN): Repeat. Veronica is dreaming about the student that died in the bus crash. Weevil and Logan team up on a physics project in an attempt to help Veronica.

Primetime (ABC): New. A couple that raised a chimp as their son and a dude who lives with bears.

Cable Choices

Dead Like Me (Sci Fi): Repeat. This quirky little show from Showtime is worth checking out. George finds out some info about her father she did not know.

Eureka (Sci Fi): New. A researcher tries to tap into the mysterious artifact and ends up with the ability to heal. Plays again later.

Rescue Me (FX): New. Tommy and his dad argue and then he goes missing. Sean and Maggie’s wedding plans don’t look good after a bad meeting with the priest. Runs 63 minutes and plays again right after.

  • Dirty Jobs (Discovery Channel): New. Tonight being a stonecutter and an alpaca shearer are profiled.
  • Ham on the Street (Food Network): New. So what can you do with pepper?
  • Overhaulin’ (TLC): New. A 1963 Comet is worked on.
