Veronica Mars 2007 CalendarSmith has been taken off the air by CBS and will be replaced by repeats of Criminal Minds and the like until November 14th when the new show 3 Lbs. starring Stanley Tucci as a brilliant neurosurgeon who looks at his patients like Dr. House would and Mark Feuerstein as a brilliant neurosurgeon but who treats his patients more like Dr. Cameron would advocate for on House. Will the show be smart and different or will it be a House rip-off? We shall see.

Friday Night Lights (NBC): New. See what happens at the first game after losing their star quarterback to injury. It doesn’t look good as the town starts to turn on the coach.

Veronica Mars (The CW): New. A football player has gotten his playbook stolen and he hires Veronica to get it back before his next practice. Ed Begley Jr. makes his first appearance as the Dean of Hearst College who threatens to expel our young heroine from school.

Boston Legal (ABC): New. Coho finally goes to trial on his big case while Denny is starting to develop feelings for Bethany.

NCIS (CBS): New. An investigation into a missing lance corporal whose body was buried in the yard of a vacant home takes place.

The Unit (CBS): New. The team must decide whom to rescue from a medical facility during a hurricane.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): New. Twice the same person rapes a woman and the crime is linked to other women who were victims of multiple rapes.

Emeril Live (Food Network): New. Emeril cooks up some rolls with Peter Frampton in the house.

Eureka (Sci Fi): Repeat. The episode “Before I Forget” replays.

Nip/Tuck (FX): New. Dawn Budge is back again while Liz gets some unexpected help from a friend. Runs 64 minutes and plays twice.
