Tonight we have plenty of good stuff to watch. ABC has a new Desperate Housewives after what seems like a really long time. On HBO, the final season of The Sopranos kicks off followed by the first of the remaining eight episodes of the third season of Entourage. A new episode of The Dresden Files plays an hour later than normal on Sci Fi Channel. For fans of shows from FX, both the sixth season premiere of The Shield and the latest episode of The Riches replay tonight. Plus there are a handful of TV marathons on cable today. King of the Hill (FOX): Repeat. Bill teaches Bobby the secret to his BBQ sauce after he starts dwelling on the fact that he has no kids of his own.
Desperate Housewives (ABC): New. Susan comes to find out some interesting info on her future in-laws. Gaby deals with a catastrophe, while an unlikely relationship starts to develop on Wisteria Lane. Runs 61 minutes.
Brothers & Sisters (ABC): New. Justin comes to the protection of his half sister while Margot Kidder guests as Nora’s mischievous friend who encourages her to take a shot with her professor.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (ABC): New. A single mother who spends her time help victims of Katrina gets a new home.
Cold Case (CBS): New. The team investigates the death of a woman in 1919 that fought for the rights of women.
Without a Trace (CBS): New. The son of an inter-racial couple is kidnapped and the team investigates the paternal grandfather who is a white supremacist.

Emeril Live (Food Network): New. Emeril loves some lobster tonight.
Iron Chef America (Food Network): New. Watch the battle between Iron Chef Morimoto and Chef Linton Hopkins.
Entourage (HBO): New. The rest of the eight episodes from season three begin tonight where we find Vince with a new agent played by Carla Gugino (Threshold, Karen Sisco). It is Vince’s birthday and Turtle is busy planning a big celebration. Runs 30 minutes.

- Blood Ties (Lifetime): New. A man hires Vicki to find out if his wife is cheating and becomes the number one suspect when she is found dead. Plays again later.
- The Dresden Files (Sci Fi): New. Ancient Mai and Morgan hold up at Dresden’s place and are trapped by a strong spell. The new episode plays an hour later than it normally has been. Plays again later.
- The Shield (FX): Repeat. The sixth season premiere replays. Runs 69 minutes. Last Monday’s episode of The Riches replays right after and runs 66 minutes.
- The Sopranos (HBO): Season Premiere. In the first of the last nine episodes, it is Tony’s 47th birthday.
