Tonight on the Tube: 3 Flavors of Law & Order and House and Boston Legal Season Finales

The Medical Science of House, M.D.NBC has one episode of each flavor of Law & Order on tonight. FOX has the first On the Lot viewer vote results and the season finale of House. ABC has the season finale of Boston Legal. Next week is the season finale of The Shield on FX. Also, next week is the season premiere of America’s Got Talent on NBC, Criss Angel Mindfreak on A&E and Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List on Bravo.

Prime Picks

On the Lot (FOX): New. Result of the first viewer vote is revealed and the three contestants with the lowest vote totals are sent home. Last night they showed 18 one-minute comedy films. There were only four or five that actually got a laugh out of me. They were Dance Man by Adam Stein, Spaced out by Andrew Hunt, Check Out by Shira-Lee Shalit, Lucky Penny by Will Bigham and Danger Zone by Zach Liposky. Honorable mention goes to A Golf Story by Trevor James because it was about golf. The three that should be heading home after this round are Jess Brillhart because she already knows it all from film school, Kenny Luby because, just because “you don’t have to go to film school,” doesn’t mean you have to mention every time you are on screen and Marty Martin because he didn’t follow the directions. Who do you think should be sent home?

House (FOX): Season Finale. A woman rescued at sea is brought to see Dr. House and his team and it becomes the case that makes him question quite a few things.

Boston Legal (ABC): Season Finale. Alan and Denny work a case together as do Clarence and Jerry.

Solid Selections

NCIS (CBS): Repeat. McGee’s sister is in trouble and he goes against procedure to help her.

Veronica Mars (The CW): Repeat. The third season premiere replays where Wallace asks Veronica to help his new roommate find who stole his stuff. This was the best show on The CW and now it is no more.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): Repeat. Two parents are in a bitter custody dispute over their daughter.

Cable Choices

Taste of America With Mark DeCarlo (Travel Channel): New. Philly Cheesesteaks and Indian pudding are profiled.
Taste of America With Mark DeCarlo (Travel Channel): Repeat. New York Pizza and red eye gravy are profiled.

The Universe (History Channel): Series Premiere. Tonight’s episode is all about the Sun. Plays again later.

The Shield (FX): New. Vic and Ronnie might be making a deal to solve a case. Shane and Diro are going to do business. The season finale is next week. Runs 70 minutes and plays again later.
