The Office (NBC): Repeats. Three super-sized episodes play over two hours. First is the season two finale, “Casino Night.” Then the season three episodes “Branch Closing” and “The Merger.” Steve Carrell will host the night and show you some clips of his new movie that opens Friday, Evan Almighty.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (NBC): New. Tonight we find out why Matt and Danny got the boot from Studio 60 originally. These have been really good episodes.

Smallville (The CW): Repeat. Clark finds that Raya was also able to escape from the Phantom Zone. Unfortunately, a killer also escaped and wants revenge for his imprisonment.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): Repeat. The first time a miniature is found at a crime scene of a dead former rocker played by Danny Bonaduce.

Shark (CBS): Repeat. Stark and part of his team are held hostage in a courtroom.

Cable Choices

The Closer (TNT): Repeat. The season three premiere from Monday, “Homewrecker,” replays. Another great episode from the best show the summer has to offer and one of the best shows on TV period.

The Starter Wife (USA): New. Molly and Sam have hit new heights in their relationship while Molly is trying to help Joan get sober, but it is causing a rift in the house. Plays again later. The first four hours of the series replays earlier in the day.

Throwdown With Bobby Flay (Food Network): Repeat. A doughnut battle is waged. Plays again later.
The Showbiz Show With David Spade (Comedy Central): New. David Spade makes fun of celebrities and pop culture. Plays again later.

Other Options

  • Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Repeats. Two episodes from this past season replay with Cristina trying to help Preston cope with his hand tremors.
  • The Next Food Network Star (Food Network): Repeat. The chocolate recipe competition replays and two get sent home at the end. Plays again later, again Saturday and before a new episode on Sunday night.
