Dexter - Season One on DVDIt looks like there might be a little good news in regards to the WGA strike, as both sides have agreed to once again begin negotiations. Let’s hope they come to an agreement soon.

Prime Picks

The Simpsons (FOX): New. A comic book geek that opnes up another comic book store and treats Bart and the rest of the kids very well. Marge creates a place for ordinary women to exercise. They have 17 completed episodes and this is episode seven.
King of the Hill (FOX): New. Hank is in search of great steaks and has to start his own mini-coop to do so.

Cold Case (CBS): New. A girl that dressed as a boy in 1963 gets her case reopened by the team. Has 13 episodes completed and this is episodes nine.

Shark (CBS): New. A serial arsonist is on the loose and the team is searching for him after his latest fire kills a firefighter. But, while investigating, they find that the man in the fire that the firefighter was trying to get to, had already been murdered. They have 12 episodes completed and this is episode nine.

Solid Selections

2007 American Music Awards (ABC): Special. Jimmy Kimmel is set to host, as awards for the best in music are presented and the likes of Alicia Keys, Celine Dion, Daughtry, Maroon 5, Duran Duran and others perform. Runs three hours.

Cable Choices

Weeds (Showtime): Repeat. Last Monday’s episode, “Protection,” replays twice. Tomorrow night is the season finale.

Dexter (Showtime): New. Dexter is becoming uncomfortable with Lila’s attachment to him. Debra and Lundy come across a clue in the case. Plays again later.

Brotherhood (Showtime): New. Judd is in decline and Tommy and Colin are trying to deal with it. Declan is trying to clear his conscience. Plays again later.

Other Options

  • Iron Chef America (Food Network): New. The winner of The Next Iron Chef competition competes in his first battle with a Thanksgiving theme. Plays again later.
  • Life is Wild (The CW): New. The first wedding is held at The Blue Antelope. Katie finds out some info on Oliver’s father.
  • Nip/Tuck (FX): Repeat. The season premiere episode, “Everett Poe,” replays. Runs 62 minutes.

  • ABC has NASCAR racing with the Nextel Cup: Ford 400.
  • CBS has NFL action.
  • ESPN2 has men and women’s college basketball games.
  • FOX has NFL action.
  • NBA TV has the undefeated Boston Celtics at the Orlando Magic.
  • NBC has Sunday Night Football with the New England Patriots at the Buffalo Bills.

  • It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX): Repeats. Last Thursday’s episodes including the season finale replay.
