Tonight on the Tube: Booby-Traps, Online Dating, Dead Gifts & Shooting Fish in a Barrel

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody Video Game for Nintendo DSTonight, NBC has the season finale of Phenomenon followed by a two hour Deal or No Deal, BBC America has the season finale of Hotel Babylon and Discovery Channel has the premiere of Rise of the Video Game.

Below you will find info on the number of remaining new episodes before each show runs out because of the WGA strike. Other shows not mentioned below include Gossip Girl with five episodes left, Bionic Woman with two and it looks like Life has three.

Prime Picks

Pushing Daisies (ABC): New. A booby-trapped scratch-n-sniff book kills someone and the gang investigates, as the victim was not the intended target. Got to love this show, as where else would such a thing be used as the murder weapon. Two episodes remain after tonight.

Private Practice (ABC): New. Cooper actually finds someone online that is quite the surprise. Addison goes out with one of Violet’s patients. I am thinking that dating the shrink’s patient is not going to be a good idea. Only has one episode left to air after tonight.

Dirty Sexy Money (ABC): New. Nick and Lisa try to spend Thanksgiving without the Darlings, but I am sure it doesn’t work out so well. Tripp wants a face-to-face with Simon Elder. Three episodes remain after tonight, but the good news is that ABC has picked the show up for the season. Here’s hoping the strike comes to a close soon, so they can get back to making the rest of the season’s episodes.

Solid Selections

Back to You (FOX): Repeat. A whole lot of goldfish pay the price for comedy in this episode, as Chuck tries to show Kelly that he can take care of a child by showing he can take care of a goldfish. They have three episodes that remain.
‘Til Death (FOX): Repeat. Won’t be any better the second time and has four more unfunny episodes remaining.

Criminal Minds (CBS): New. The team searches for the person who shot Garcia, as her life hangs in the balance. Will have three episodes left after tonight.

CSI: NY (CBS): New. A bridegroom is found dead and wrapped like a gift. Stella finds a bloody puzzle on her car. Has five episodes remaining after tonight.
