News & Notes
Tonight, NBC has the season premiere of The Celebrity Apprentice.
Prime Picks
Smallville (The CW): Repeat. The episode with guest star Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) as a bad doctor who says he can cure Chloe of her meteor freak status.
Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Repeat. This fall’s Halloween episode, “Haunt You Every Day,” replays, where Meredith thinks her dead mother’s ashes are haunting her and Izzie and George are dealing with the fallout of their decisions. Runs 62 minutes.
Desperate Housewives (ABC): Repeat. The last episode of the fall, “Something’s Coming,” replays, where the tornado hits Wisteria Lane. A new episode plays Sunday night.
Solid Selection
FedEx Orange Bowl (FOX): Kansas vs. Virginia Tech. It’s another highflying offense against a big time defense. Hopefully, it will be a better game than the last few, as so far, the “B” in BCS stands for Blowout. Broadcast begins at 8:15 p.m. ET with a pre-game show starting 45 minutes earlier.
Cable Choices
Friends (TBS): Repeats. The two part “The One With Monica and Chandlers Wedding” replays, where Ross is trying to find Chandler and Joey shows up late to officiate.
Iron Chef America (Food Network): Repeat. Iron Chef Cat Cora battles Chef Joey Campanaro. Plays again later.
Ace of Cakes (Food Network): Repeats. Two episodes replay. First, Duff is away and Mary Alice is having trouble with the business. In the second, rats and wedding cakes. Both replay again later.
Other Options
- CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): Repeat. The team tries to find if the deaths of twins are connected.
- Without a Trace (CBS): Repeats. One episode play before CSI and the other after, where in the first, a guy that cleans crime scenes goes missing with his daughter. In the second, a girl at her prom goes missing.

Late Night
The late night talkers should all be new again tonight. Haven’t gotten a chance to watch them yet, but recorded all five of them last night while I was at work. Should be interesting, especially The Late Late Show, as it was supposed to be all comedy and no guests. Did you watch last night? What did you think?
