American Idol (FOX): New. The top eight girls sing and two will be sent home Thursday giving us our Top 12 for season seven.
Criminal Minds (CBS): Repeat. The team has a suspect in custody, but they find themselves doubting they have the right person.
Men in Trees (ABC): New. Marin is trying to help Cash with his illness while trying to stay positive about what has happened to Jack.
Solid Selections
Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Repeat. The body of a diver washes up and Goren and Eames have trouble dealing with the FBI while investigating the case.
Deal or No Deal (NBC): New. It is pretty sad when this is the second best thing on in the second hour of primetime, but with Supernanny, Pussycat Dolls and Moment of Truth being the other possible selections in this time period, it wins by a mile.
Law & Order (NBC): New. A psychiatrist that treats teens is found shot in his office and there is no shortage of good suspects.
Cable Choices
Hot Dog Paradise (Travel Channel): New. See how hot dogs are prepared differently around the country. Plays again later.
Ultimate Recipe Showdown (Food Network): Repeat. Sunday’s “Comfort Food” competition replays with categories of Chili, Mac and Cheese and Sandwiches. Plays again later.
Saving Grace (TNT): Repeats. The last two episodes of season one, “Is There a Scarlet Letter on My Breast?” and “Taco, Tulips, Duck and Spices,” replay, where the squad has to deal with a big shot attorney defending a client they arrested and then pictures of Grace’s sister are found in the car of a suspected rapist.
Other Options
- CSI: NY (CBS): Repeat. Two different victims are found dead in two different places by two different weapons, but the team finds they have a common criminal past.
- Tyler Perry’s House of Payne (TBS): New. Two new episodes play tonight with Madea, played by Tyler Perry, making an appearance in the first one. Two repeat episode play before. - ESPN has Duke at Virginia in college basketball action followed by the Phoenix Suns at the Denver Nuggets in NBA action.
