Day Break, Party of Five, Sliders, Wings & More New TV on DVD Releases

There are 29 new TV on DVD releases this week, which includes some pretty good options. This week you can takeoff with Wings, live through the pain of Painkiller Jane, get a look at The Invisible Man, visit alternate dimensions with Sliders and more. But, the TVaholic’s Prime Pick this week is Day Break.

Day Break stars Taye Diggs (Private Practice, Kevin Hill) as a cop that keeps reliving the same day over and over again. Each time he learns something new, but he also wakes up each morning having to deal with the memories and/or injuries from the previous day that nobody else remembers. It lasted only six episodes on ABC before they banished it, do to low ratings, to web-only viewing. Yet, it was really good, people just weren’t watching. Some shows just can’t find their audience. Others along for the ride included Adam Baldwin (Chuck, Firefly), Moon Bloodgood (Journeyman) and Victoria Pratt (Mutant X).
