Get Harper's Island Episodes via Amazon Video On DemandOn cable tonight, A&E has the first season finale of The Beast and MTV the season finale of Making the Band 4.

In where did that show go news, ABC has pulled In the Motherhood and Samantha Who?, in what is now two weeks earlier than originally scheduled.

Will be on TV Talk with Shaun OMac today at about 4:00 p.m. PT, along with Amrie from Seat42f, among other places. The show starts at 3:00 p.m. PT and runs two hours. You can listen live or later or download it at iTunes.

Bones (FOX): New. A friend of Booth has his sister go missing and asks for help in trying to find her.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): New. Izzie is focusing on planning Meredith and Derek’s wedding while she tries to fight the cancer. Callie’s dad comes for a visit. Runs 62 minutes.

Harper’s Island (CBS): New. Locals and wedding guest alike are shaken by an apparent suicide. Trish is has to decide what to do about Hunter. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

Solid Selection

Smallville (The CW): New. Lois takes on the superhero persona of Stiletto and Clark worries for her safety.

The Office (NBC): New. Michael’s new paper company is having a tough time getting early morning deliveries done. Angela enforces a policy that makes it hard for employees to get their expense reports turned in. Runs 31 minutes.
30 Rock (NBC): New. Jack is shopping for engagement rings. Liz learns that Elisa is keeping a secret. Starts a minute after the half-hour and runs 29 minutes.

Private Practice (ABC): New. Noah and Addison are working together on a case. Sam starts to have second thoughts about being friends with Naomi. Starts two minutes after the hour and runs 58 minutes.

Cable Choices

Good Eats (Food Network): Repeats. Alton talks about “Amber Waves” of grain and then takes a shot at “Raising the Bar.” Both episodes play again later.

American Chopper (TLC): New. The team is trying to get used to working without Paul Jr. Plays again later.

Being Erica (SOAPnet): New. Katie is trying to get her book published by River Rock. It plays again twice on Saturday and again Sunday night. I finally got caught up with this show over last weekend. It is very good.

  • Ace of Cakes (Food Network): New. Bobble head and Antarctic cakes are made. Plays again later.
  • The Beast (A&E): Season Finale. Barker comes across evidence in an old case that has plagued him his whole career. Plays twice and again later twice.
  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): New. A convicted felon is claiming he was convicted on false evidence, so Catherine re-examines the evidence in what was one of her first cases. Runs 61 minutes.
  • Parks and Recreation (NBC): New. Giving this show its third shot, as the first two haven’t been very good. Will it be strike three? The first two episode replay leading into primetime on Bravo tonight.
  • Southland (NBC): New. Ben tells his therapist and training officer about his past. Dewey parties with an actor. I thought I had gotten used to the editing style, but I haven’t. It’s taking away from my enjoyment of the show.
  • Supernatural (The CW): New. Dean and Sam are contacted by a teen that claims to be the son of John Winchester.

Sports Note

  • NBA TV first round playoff action with the Dallas Mavericks at the San Antonio Spurs.
  • TNT has first round doubleheader NBA action with the Boston Celtics at the Chicago Bulls followed by the Los Angeles Lakers at the Utah Jazz.
  • Versus has doubleheader NHL playoff games.

TV Marathons

A&E has 14 hours of The First 48 episodes.
Bravo has five episodes of The Biggest Loser.
History has the five episodes of Warriors that play twice.
MTV has eight episodes of Making the Band 4 early.
