Tonight, ABC has the two-hour fourth season premiere of Ugly Betty and NBC has a Secrets of the Lost Symbol special.

On cable tonight, Discovery Channel has the series premiere of Lobstermen and USA has the fourth fall season finale of Psych.

Premiering next Friday, USA has White Collar.

Smallville (The CW): New. The Toyman is back and has taken Oliver hostage. Meanwhile, Clark gets the ability to hear people’s thoughts.

Stargate Universe (Syfy): New. The power on the ship seems to be running low and Dr. Rush is trying to figure out why. Plays again later. Last week’s episode replays right before.

Psych (USA): Fall Finale. Shawn ends up in the middle of a much larger case while working on case that involve an ice cream truck. Plays again later.

Law & Order (NBC): New. The detectives are searching for the murderer of a mother of 10 adopted kids.

Monk (USA): New. Natalie is trying to surprise Monk for his birthday. Meanwhile, he is looking into the death of a office building’s maintenance man under suspicious circumstances. Plays again later.

Sanctuary (Syfy): New. Magnus wants Kate to give up some info. Tesla and Henry are working on a weapon that can protect the Sanctuaries, but not harm Ashley. Plays again later.
