Boston Legal (ABC): Tonight is the murder trial of Kelly Nolan played by Heather Locklear starts and Malcolm Holmes played by Rupert Everett tries to get Tara to help him get a court order for one of his clients that will allow the client to sing his uncle’s trademark song.

Gilmore Girls (WB): Sookie attempt to get Lorelei and Rory back together by asking them to be the godparents or her children. She hopes that with all the happiness of the ceremony they will make up but they continue to fight.
My Name is Earl (NBC): This show is somewhat humorous but not nearly as good as the commercial make it out to be but it is a decent show to hold you over until the funny really starts in the next half hour.
The Office (NBC): While the cats away the mice will play, in the Office Olympics that is. Tonight Jim and Pam put together an employee competition while Michael and Dwight are out of the office trying to close a deal on a condo for Michael.
Close to Home (CBS): Series premiere of this Jerry Bruckheimer produced show. Tonight a woman sets fire to her house with her kids locked inside and claims to have been locked in the basement by her husband and it was the only way of escape she could think of.

According to Jim (ABC): Cheryl decides to take her sister instead of Jim when she wins two tickets to the Playboy Mansion and meet Hugh Hefner.
Rodney (ABC): Hoping to redeem himself Rodney starts helping around the church.
Supernatural (WB): Five survivors of a plane crash need help before the spirit of the phantom traveler that caused the crash gets to them. While not nearly as spooky or scary as the commercials would have you believe it is entertaining.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): Det. Benson tries to help a 9-year-old girl who calls for help and says she is being held captive.

Overhaulin’ (TLC): A woman’s Mustang is overhauled.

The baseball playoffs are here. That means that for a few weeks the Fox lineup will be halted until the playoffs are over. As of now St. Louis leads their series with San Diego 1-0 already, the White Sox are presently hammering the Red Sox and The Yankees and Angels start their series in less than an hour. Houston and Atlanta start their series tomorrow.
