Tonight on the Tube: Reruns, Runaway Bride’s and Running Backs

in Tonight on the Tube

As per the usual Saturday night there is not much worth get excited for on the networks. Today you will also find some of the cable networks having TV show marathons. Not as many as the last couple of days but still a few. What show would you like to sit and watch all day if you could? Yesterday I created my own little mini-marathon of Friends Thanksgiving episodes. Later tonight Saturday Night Live is a repeat but MADtv in new.

Prime Picks

Cold Case (CBS): Lily looks into the case of an unsolved murder of a prominent district attorney after he is linked to a scandal.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): Repeat of the Nesting Dolls episode.

48 Hours Mystery (CBS): A 30 year old case is looked at after some investigators uncover a new suspect.

Solid Selections

Most Outrageous TV Moments (NBC): The name of the show says it all. Although they term outrageous is usually overstating it a bit.
Runaway Bride (NBC): Starts halfway through the first hour of primetime and runs for two and a half commercially interrupted hours. Stars Julia Roberts and Richard Gere as they try to recreate the chemistry that made Pretty Woman such a hit.

Other Options

Cops (Fox): Cops in Vegas.
Cops (Fox): Repeat that involves suspects that resist arrest.

America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back (Fox): Find out who the worst female felons are tonight.

No good third hour options tonight not that many of the others are that good.

Cable Choices

Moving Up (TLC): A second story is removed. Wouldn’t that make it hard to move up?

Trading Spaces (TLC): A bedroom and a kitchen are redone in Portland.

Design on a Dime (HGTV): A retro-themed Christmas party is thrown to celebrate the new home.
Design on a Dime (HGTV): A tropical pool area is created in this repeat.

Sports Notes

In the afternoon you will find The State Farm Bayou Classic featuring Grambling State versus Southern with the battle of the bands at halftime on NBC. Also in the afternoon you will find Virginia at Miami in College Football action and later will be Notre Dame against Stanford on ABC. Again in the afternoon on CBS you will also find Florida playing Florida State. You will find College Football games throughout the day on both ESPN and ESPN2.
