Tonight on the Tube: Arrested, Mother, Men, Practice and Miami

If you haven’t been watching Everybody Hates Chris and nothing below looks interesting, UPN will be rerunning episodes in the first hour of primetime Monday through Thursday this week. What will you be watching tonight on TV? Get a few ideas below.

Prime Picks

Arrested Development (FOX): Michael and Gob team up in an attempt to teach George Sr. a thing or two and Lucille gets a horror movie inspiring facelift.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): It is New Years Eve and Ted has secured a limo and a night on the town to celebrate with his friends. No Christmas episode this year so I guess Barney won’t be able to Santa Suit Up until next season.

Two and a Half Men (CBS): A woman takes over the house for the holidays and keeps the guys well fed.
Out of Practice (CBS): Lydia unknowingly invites Crystal’s father to the kids’ New Years party and the wackiness ensues.

CSI: Miami (CBS): A rapist is found after the use of some new technology in an attempt to close out a cold case but then he is killed before he can go to trial.

Solid Selections

The King of Queens (CBS): Doug gives Carrie a hard time when she is slow to help out at the church and he jumped at the chance.
Arrested Development (FOX): Repeat of the episode where the family find out that Buster got his hand bitten off by a seal. My hand to God that’s what happens.

Related (WB): Repeat of the episode where Rose is asked to star in a play and finds out that the part calls for nudity.

No good third hour primetime solid selections tonight.

Other Options

Deal or No Deal (NBC): This looks interesting from the commercials. If it is good hopefully they will not run it into the ground like they did with Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

2005 Radio Music Awards (NBC): Two hours of awards being handed out, performers performing their hits and Jamie Pressly and Mark McGrath hosting.

Cable Choices

American Chopper (Discovery Channel): Repeat of the build of the Santa-sleigh cycle.

American Chopper (Discovery Channel): Repeat of the build of a custom sleigh.

Wanted (TNT): The team tracks down a Gulf War vet who is blowing people up.

Sports Note

Monday Night Football tonight is the Green Bay Packers versus the Baltimore Ravens in a battle for the thrill of victory and not much more on ABC.
