NBC will be showing one repeat of each from the Law & Order franchise. ABC has a movie and CBS has crime solvers also. In cable news on Country Music Television tonight you can find The 2006 Miss America Pageant, which will then be repeated about an hour later. On Bravo find The 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards repeated a couple of times tonight complete with the pre-show and everything. What will you be watching tonight?
Prime Picks
Cold Case (CBS): A priest comes forward with info about a boy who was murdered and the case is reopened in this repeat.
Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Goren faces his nemesis played by Olivia d’Abo while pursuing the person behind the murder of a city health inspector in this repeat. Some don’t like this reoccurring bad girl but I find these episodes some of the best.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): A teenage runaway is found beaten badly and after being examined it is learned that the baby she was carrying did not survive the attack in this repeat.
Solid Selections
Law & Order (NBC): An investigation occurs after a man dies after a bomb in his car goes off before he can disconnect his wife’s feeding tube in this repeat.
NUMB3RS (CBS): Repeat where Don uses his FBI learned tracking skills to find to convicts who escaped from a bus transport.
48 Hours Mystery (CBS): The FBI has spent 10 years in an attempt to unravel a case about a college girl who disappeared.
Other Options
Enemy of the State (ABC): Will Smith is chased by the bad good guys and is helped by Gene Hackman to find out what is going on and why these people are after him. This is quite a fun movie. It may not be quite as much fun over three hours and with multiple commercial interruptions.
Cable Choices
Emeril Live (Food Network): Emeril makes some big bold desserts in this repeat.
Trading Spaces (TLC): Watch as the teams redesign a bedroom and a guest room in Philadelphia.
Wild Weddings (TLC): See all the things that you wouldn’t want to see at your wedding, bloopers, blunders and basket tossing.
Sports Notes
ESPN2 has the East/West Shrine Game from San Antonio, TX followed by the Cornerstone Bancard Hula Bowl from Honolulu, HI for some college football end of season action.
Late Night
Saturday Night Live is new tonight with host Peter Sarsgaard and musical guest the Strokes on NBC. On Fox MADtv is also new tonight with Fred Willard participating in a sketch. Hopefully SNL will be funny. Actually I would be just fine with mildly amusing as that would be a marked improvement over the show last week and most so far this season.
