Tonight on the Tube: One Lost Invasion

Kellogg's American Idol Fruit Snacks, Assorted FlavorsThe Winter Olympics continue. ABC is has all new shows tonight as well as FOX. Is it just me or is this extra minute or two added to a show so it goes just into the next hour of programming getting a little to prevalent. When setting things to record you really have to pay attention to this or you might miss the end of one of your favorite shows. The shows aren’t any longer they just put in a few extra commercials and are put in at a different time than normal. This allows them to get a few more dollars in add revenue for add shown during their highest rated shows. It also makes it hard to watch the whole episode and then change the channel to watch something on another channel because you have already missed the beginning of it. What do you think of this practice? Let us know in the comments.

Prime Picks

One Tree Hill (WB): Secrets are let out, fists start a flying and there is a benefit concert. Sounds like just another day in Tree Hill.

Lost (ABC): A mysterious person is captured and Sayid is determined to find out if he is one of the Others. Runs 63 minutes. I guess that one-minute thing just isn’t enough.

Invasion (ABC): Curiosity and frustration over not knowing what is going on gets to Kira as she wants to know more about her dad and Mariel.

Solid Selections

CSI: NY (CBS): Repeat where a wealthy middle-aged man is found dead in an elevator.
