in Tonight on the Tube

The ShieldI am glad to see Scrubs back on NBC. It seemed like the Winter Olympics were never going to end. A few repeat shows around tonight as compared to last night. The ninth version of The Amazing Race begins tonight on ABC. I have never gotten into that racing around the world stuff at all. American Idol gives the gals another chance to show America what they have. Things I wish I were able to watch tonight would be the removed from the TV schedule Love Monkey. How many out there wish they could still love their monkey each Tuesday night?

Prime Picks

NCIS (CBS): An ambulance carrying the remains of a Marine explodes mysteriously and the team investigates.

Scrubs (NBC): An intern who is annoyingly perfect upsets J.D.
Scrubs (NBC): Kelso orders the Janitor to get rid of a bird that is flying around the hospital.

Boston Legal (ABC): Denny gets married to Bev and then before the festivities are even over he is caught with another woman in another coatroom.

Solid Selections

Gilmore Girls (WB): Lorelai offers to baby-sit for Christopher to help him out but is horrified at the little girls behavior.

Supernatural (WB): It looks like the brothers catch up with their father at least for a bit.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): A student from Montreal on a class trip disappears and three cocky prep-school teens are suspected.

Other Options

American Idol (FOX): The ten remaining female contestants sing in tonight’s 90 minutes show.
The War at Home (FOX): Dave finds a pregnancy test in the trash and wonders whose it is.

No third hour option tonight.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): Repeat of Emeril reopening his New Orleans restaurant Delmonico.

Overhaulin’ (TLC): New episode.

The Shield (FX): Kavanaugh’s obsession with the Strike team comes to a head as he deals with his ex-wife and the circumstances of her return.

Sports Notes

ESPN has college hoops action with LSU at South Carolina followed by Illinois at Minnesota. ESPN2 has St. Joseph’s at Xavier.
