Medium - The Complete First SeasonTonight the Arquette sisters face off with shows in the third hour of primetime. Patricia must have seen it coming as Medium has new competition on ABC with What About Brian. It stars her sister Rosanna as the lead character’s sister. The lead character Brian is played by Barry Watson of 7th Heaven fame. Which sister will you be watching tonight?

Prime Picks

Prison Break (FOX): Michael tries to jog Haywire’s mind to get the missing blueprints.

24 (FOX): CTU continues to hunt down fugitives while the city remains under martial law. Jack is headed to meet Audrey and her dad the Secretary of Defense.

What About Brian (ABC): Pretty good introduction to all the characters last night. Tonight is the first episode in the show’s regular timeslot. Since CSI: Miami is a repeat this gets the nod tonight.

Solid Selections

7th Heaven (WB): The countdown to farewell continues.

Everwood (WB): Andy and Jake witness a car crash and save the life of the driver. They then disagree over whether to report the driver’s intoxication to the police.

Medium (NBC): My second choice of shows starring an Arquette tonight the other is What About Brian.

Other Options

The King of Queens (CBS): Repeat where Deacon and Kelly don’t want to buy the house for sale right next door to Doug and Carrie.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Repeat of this really funny episode with the tape of Barney back before he became the suiting up Barney of today.

Two and a Half Men (CBS): Repeat where Charlie has a little problem.
The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): New. Christine is insistent that she needs some time alone after her breakup with Burton.

CSI: Miami (CBS): Repeat where Miami is hit by a giant tidal wave.

Cable Choices

The West Wing (Bravo): Repeat of last night’s episode with the funeral of Leo McGarry. It was pretty good. If you missed it here is a second chance to see it.

Beautiful People (ABC Family): Last week’s episode plays right before if you missed it. Tonight Karen competes for a national ad campaign.

Anthony Bourdain (Travel Channel): Foie gras at a duck farm is sampled and the Montreal Culinary Institute is visited.

Sports Notes

ESPN has Monday Night Baseball with the Atlanta Braves at the New York Mets.
