in Tonight on the Tube

The Closer - The Complete First SeasonIf you don’t have cable then you don’t really have much to watch tonight. The Cable Choices tonight are where it is. That is an hour of outstanding television flanked on either side by two really good TV shows. The Closer is one of the best shows on TV at anytime with one of the most intriguing characters to grace the small screen. Kyra Sedgwick has created a quirky and brilliant character that deserves her Emmy nomination for Lead Actress in a Drama. Given the competition in the category in my opinion she should start preparing her acceptance speech. What do you think?

Prime Picks

The King of Queens (CBS): Repeat. Kirstie Alley guest stars as an over-the-top version of herself who is a client of Carrie’s and Doug rents a room above the gangs favorite Chinese restaurant. This was actually a pretty funny episode.

Solid Selections

Treasure Hunters (NBC): New. The fourth of the seven artifacts is hunted.

Medium (NBC): Repeat. Davalos is running for re-election and Allison has a vision that could mess everything up.

Cable Choices

Kyle XY (ABC Family): New. Kyle is having trouble with the concept of lying. Also the skeleton shown at the end of the last episode is discovered and the local police see if Kyle can help out in any way.

The Closer (TNT): New. Provenza comes across a dead body in his garage and even though the Priority Homicide Division doesn’t have jurisdiction they investigate anyway. Episode plays again after Saved.

Saved (TNT): New. Wyatt somehow gets roped into planning his fathers 60th birthday party. An event he doesn’t even want to attend let alone be in charge of. Sack makes a connection with his son but at a cost.

Other Options
