This is one of my favorite TV shows and it will definitely be making its way into my TV DVD set collection. The way out adventures of a bounty hunter named Brisco County Jr. on the hunt for the people who killed his father and some mysterious Orbs. It had action, sci-fi, romance and comedy all rolled up in one. Some say it was a show before its time. I say with a show like Firefly not getting much of a shot either its time may still be yet to be. What I remember most is that they continually left you with Brisco in some sort of danger and left you to contemplate how he was to get out of it this time during the commercial breaks. The show played like the old movie serials that my dad grew up watching each Saturday at his small town theater. Each week they would leave the hero in a precarious predicament and you would have to wait until next week to see what happened. The TV DVD set includes all 27 episodes on eight discs. Special features include commentary on the pilot episode by star Bruce Campbell and producer/creator Carlton Cuse, a documentary on the show and a round table of the writers behind the show.
