If you missed Heroes on NBC or Runaway on The CW last night you have a second chance to see them or TiVo them if you wish tonight. The Gilmore Girls kick off their 7th season sans the shows creators, right where last season left off. Still another week until Veronica Mars sleuths her way back onto TV. Ted Danson returns to TV in a new sitcom that premieres after a 90 minute Dancing With the Stars. With the new comedy premieres this season this doesn’t even have to be very good to be the best so far.

Gilmore Girls (The CW): Season Premiere. Lorelai wakes up the morning after in Christopher’s bed and then tries to rid herself of everything Luke. Logan wants Rory to come visit him and Taylor and Kirk damage the diner. Later Luke wants to elope with Lorelai.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): New. This week it is Det. Logan and his new partner played by Julianne Nicholson (Conviction).

Smith (CBS): New. Hope thinks that Bobby may have been involved in the Pittsburgh museum heist. Annie gets Tom and Jeff working on a side project.

Dead Like Me (Sci Fi): Repeat. George reaps the soul of a rock star.

Eureka (Sci Fi): New. The Sheriff’s house traps some people and then tries to kill them. Plays again later.

Nip/Tuck (FX): New. Christian wants Michelle more and more the more she rebuffs his advances. Sean ends up in a compromising position. Runs 66 minutes and plays twice.
