Tonight on the Tube: The CW Switches Things Up, Desperate Housewives, Without a Trace & Two Sunday Night Football Games.

Denver Broncos Greatest HitsThe CW has switched 7th Heaven and Runaway to Sunday night beginning this week. The comedy block is now on Monday night. The repeat of America’s Next Top Model moves to earlier in the night before 7th Heaven. In sports news the Broncos will be playing on both EPSN and NBC tonight. Well the Boise State Broncos will be playing on ESPN and the Denver Broncos will be playing on NBC that is.

Prime Pick

7th Heaven (The CW): New. Sam and David’s teacher propositions Eric so he pulls the kids out of class until he can deal with the situation. This is not the best show but I would rather watch it than Extreme Makeover: Home Edition or The Amazing Race 10. Can’t wait for the return of The Simpsons after baseball.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): New. Tom begins to chase his dreams. I wonder what they are? Susan learns that Mike has come out of his coma. Runs 61 minutes.

Without a Trace (CBS): New. The team searches for a 15-year-old girl who goes missing from a girl’s detention center.

Solid Selections

The Amazing Race 10 (CBS): New. An alliance ends at an airport as the two teams try to ditch each other.

Cold Case (CBS): New. An older brother of a baby who died in 1982 of SIDS thinks he had something to do with the death and Lily reopens the case to find out.

Brothers & Sisters (ABC): Kitty has joined Meredith Grey in the having to choose between to men department. Mer finally made her choice but whom will Kitty choose?

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): New. Emeril takes a crack at some ballpark foods.

Iron Chef America (Food Network): Repeat. Iron Chef Mario Batali takes on Chef Ludvic Lefebvre.

Angela’s Eyes (Lifetime): Season Finale. Angela investigates when the missing documents come up regarding the murder of Jack Stillman.

Other Options

  • Dexter (Showtime): New. The Ice Truck Killer’s latest victim and where she is found captivate Dexter. This is a weird but intriguing show.
  • Nip/Tuck (FX): Repeat. The “Faith Wolper, Ph.D.” episode from last week replays and runs 65 minutes.
  • Runaway (The CW): New. Paul thinks he may have found some info on the in Washington D.C.
  • The Wire (HBO): New. Carcetti responds after being smeared during the campaign.

Sports Notes

  • ABC has the final round of the Frys.com Open golf tournament from Las Vegas.
  • CBS has an NFL doubleheader with the Chiefs and Steelers the game of the day.
  • ESPN has college football with Boise State playing New Mexico State.
  • FOX has NFL Football, which will be the Seattle Seahawks vs. the St. Louis Rams in my area, followed by Game 4 of the NLCS with the Cardinals leading the Mets 2-1 in the series.
  • NBC has the final round of the Samsung World Championship LPGA golf tournament and later Sunday Night Football with the fledgling Oakland Raiders at the Denver Broncos.

TV Show Marathons

Bravo has eight episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
TLC has 13 episodes of What Not to Wear today.
