Download Heroes Episodes at iTunesThe NBC Heroes promos say they will tell you what “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World” means. They sure have been building this up. This tends to be where people will either get further fired up about the show or start to fall away from it. I hope it lives up to the hype, as everything else about this show has been really great. Heroes is one of my favorite new shows of the season. It draws you in and keeps you interested and they sure know how to pull off beginnings and endings of episodes. Will you be watching Heroes tonight instead of “hearing about it the next morning?”

Prime Picks

Prison Break (FOX): New. Michael has bad memories after the family reunion. C-Note has some problems and Mahone tracks the injured Coyote to try and find the plane.

Heroes (NBC): New. Tonight they are promising to let you in on what “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World” means. Will you be watching? Runs 61 minutes. Last week’s episode plays on the Sci Fi Channel.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (NBC): New. It looks like Ricky and Ron are going to leave but they are going to take the writing staff with them. Jordan has to deal with some budget cuts.

Solid Selections

How I Met Your Mother (CBS): New. Robin tries to cover a secret from her past that she doesn’t want the rest of the gang to know.
The Class (CBS): New. It is Thanksgiving and giving thanks is what the people behind this show should be doing considering this mostly unfunny show is still on the air.

Two and a Half Men (CBS): New. Jake gets left home alone for the first time as the Alan and Charlie head out on a double date.
The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): New. Ritchie does badly on a homework assignment and Christine doesn’t know how to handle it.

CSI: Miami (CBS): New. A woman who was auctioned off at a charity event is found dead and the investigation leads to a more disturbing problem.

Cable Choices

Threshold (Sci Fi): Repeats. Three episodes of the failed CBS series from last season play after a replay of last week’s Heroes and before last week’s Battlestar Galactica.

Other Options

  • A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (ABC): Repeat. The whole gang gathers at Charlie Brown’s for a weird feast around his pingpong table.
  • American Chopper (Discovery Channel): Repeats. The two episodes where the guys build a Caddyshack inspired bike for Bill Murray replay.
  • He’s a Bully, Charlie Brown (ABC): New. Charlie Brown challenges a bully at summer camp to get back some marbles.
  • What About Brian (ABC): New. Brian decides to go to work for his father and meets someone there. Adam dating a stripper may not be very good for his future, professionally speaking.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has Monday Night Football with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Giants.
  • ESPN2 has college basketball action with games from the EA Sports Maui Invitational and the CBE Classic.
