LaKisha Jones wanted the voters to “Run to Me” so she could keep “Staying Alive” on American Idol Season 6. She did not get her wish, as she was the bottom vote getter this week. That leaves Melinda Doolittle, Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis as the three remaining contestants.

Well, I had it right again, Blake stays and LaKisha goes. She just never was really able to capture that feeling from the first performance back in the Top 24 week. They showed part of it as they said goodbye and it still sounds incredible.

American Idol Season 6 – Top 3 Rankings:

1. Melinda Doolittle – Still has the best voice, but Jordin has crept up on her over the weeks. She is one standout performance away from winning, but could still win based on consistency.
2. Jordin Sparks – A very close second that could easily win this thing. Definitely did better than last week.
3. Blake Lewis – Needs an unbelievable week to get himself into the Top 2, as he is the most likely to be leaving next week.
