Tonight on the Tube: Dirty Jobs, Eureka & Damages Series Premiere

Eureka - Season OneTonight is the series premiere of Damages on FX. It is definitely worth watching. Also, tonight is the season finale of Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List on Bravo. Tomorrow night is the second season premiere of Who Wants To Be A Superhero? on Sci Fi Channel.

NCIS (CBS): Repeat. The team investigates when the body of a sailor is found in a seedy part of town.

House (FOX): Repeat. A 16 year old is bleeding internally, but his gypsy parents want nothing to do with modern medicine.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): Repeat. Benson goes undercover to try and stop a terrorist attack.

Solid Selections

Just for Laughs (ABC): New. Two episodes of the hidden camera show play tonight in the first hour of primetime.

Shaq’s Big Challenge (ABC): New. The kids still aren’t ready and it is chef Tyler Florence’s last chance to show that a healthier menu can be had in the school cafeteria without raising the costs.

48 Hours Mystery (CBS): New. Well, on network TV tonight, if you aren’t into SVU, it is either this or Primetime.

Cable Choices

Good Eats (Food Network): Repeat. Alton drops a little “Pop Culture” knowledge on you tonight in this rerun. Plays again later.
Dinner: Impossible (Food Network): Repeat. Robert is up against some renowned chefs in this challenge. Plays again later. A new episode plays tomorrow night.

Eureka (Sci Fi): New. A deep freeze in isolation starts to screw with Eureka’s weather, setting off a bizarre chain of climate related events. Plays again later.

Damages (FX): Series Premiere. This show is worth checking out. Read the review and see why you should tune in tonight. Runs 66 minutes and plays twice.

  • The Bill Engvall Show (TBS): New. It is a decent, if not original, sitcom. Where if you like his stand up, you will probably like the show.
  • The Closer (TNT): Last night’s episode, “Dumb Luck,” replays.
