Tonight on the Tube: Little Richard, Rachael Ray & Jeff Dunham

Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity on DVDTonight, CBS has the 9th Annual A Home for the Holidays and FOX has the season finale of The Next Great American Band.

Prime Picks

Duel (ABC): New. The head-to-head trivia competitions continue. The finale is on Sunday night. This is better than a lot of recent game shows. At least by the end of an episode a lot of questions get asked, but they could just put the screen up and down with out having to say it every time.

Women’s Murder Club (ABC): Repeat. The “Grannies, Drugs & Love Mints” episode replays, where they are on the hunt for the leader of a drug transporter using nursing home residents as drug mules.

Numb3rs (CBS): Repeat. The “Longshot” episode replays, where a death at a horseracing track is investigated and Charlie’s math takes the case in a new direction.

Solid Selections

The Singing Bee (NBC): New. Two new episodes play tonight. Contestants must complete the lyrics of songs to win. Deborah Harry performs in the first and Little Richard performs in the second episode.

Moonlight (CBS): Repeat. The series premiere episode, “No Such Thing as Vampires,” replays.

No good third hour selections tonight, as the options are the second half of a two hour Dateline NBC and a repeat 20/20 on ABC.

Cable Choices

Good Eats (Food Network): Repeat. Alton helps you at the “School of Hard Nogs.” Plays again later.
Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): Repeat. Guy takes a tour of some family owned joints. Plays again later.

Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity (Comedy Central): Repeat. The ventriloquist does his thing. The dude is just amazing and his cast of characters is hilarious. Runs 90 minutes. Jeff Dunham: Arguing With Myself and Comedy Central Presents: Jeff Dunham both follow.

Other Options

  • Rachael Ray’s Tasty Travels (Food Network): New. Rachael visits San Diego. Plays again later.
