When Will My Favorite NBC Shows Return Post Writers’ Strike?

Many NBC shows will return with new episodes for April and May, others won’t return until fall, some are yet to be determined if they’ll be back and some probably won’t return at all. Episode counts below are not official, as NBC only announced return dates.

NBC Shows Returning With New Episodes This Spring

• 30 Rock will return April 10th with five new episodes.
• ER will return April 10th with six new episodes.
• Law & Order will continue airing and will add five more episodes to its run.
• Law & Order: Special Victims Unit returns April 15th with five new episodes.
• Medium will continue airing, but will add five more episodes to its run.
• My Name Is Earl will return April 3rd with an hour-long episode and then April 10th with the first of seven more half hours.
• The Office will return April 10th with six new episodes.
• Saturday Night Live returns February 23rd with host Tina Fey and will probably do between six and eight new shows.
• Scrubs will return April 10th and has five episodes already shot and could complete as many as four more.

NBC Shows With Fates Yet To Be Determined Officially

• Bionic Woman has probably been scrapped. Update 2.25.2008: You can remove the “probably” from the previous statement.
• Friday Night Lights could live to play another game.
• Las Vegas might be back as well. Update 2.25.2008: You can change the “might” to a “won’t” in the previous statement.
• Journeyman has probably journeyed for last time.

Wish Chuck was coming back sooner, but at least it is coming back. Very disappointed that Journeyman will probably not be back, but at least they gave it a decent last episode. Really hope that Friday Night Lights will be back, as the last episode to air would be a terrible way to end things down in Dillon.
