Tonight on the Tube: Flash Point, Stargate Atlantis, Monk & Psych

News & Notes

Download Psych Episodes at Amazon UnboxOn cable tonight, USA has the seventh season premiere of Monk and the third season premiere of Psych.

In TVaholic site news, I am presently having some trouble with my web-hosting provider (HostGator). For some reason I can’t login and post to a couple of my sites, this being one of them. They can’t seem to be able to determine the problem as of yet. So, in the meantime, I just hope that I will get lucky again, like yesterday, and be able to post this sometime today. I was supposed to have reviews of Monk and Psych and interviews from my recent Psych set visit posted over the last couple days, but I have barely been able to get this daily post out.

Prime Picks

America’s Funniest Home Videos (ABC): Repeat. Coaters, mascots and buffaloes, oh my.

Numb3rs (CBS): Repeat. Charlie uses the data on a small planes flight computer to determine what made it crash, in “Pandora’s Box” from season three.

Flashpoint (CBS): New. A man is holding people at a hospital hostage until they find his daughter a new heart, which leaves Sgt. Parker having to confront his own family issues. Plays again Sunday night.

Solid Selections

20/20 (ABC): Repeat. Investigative reports.

Cable Choices

Joan of Arcadia (Sci Fi): Repeat. God wants Joan to take some initiative and stop being an underachiever, so she signs up for advanced chemistry.

Monk (USA): Season Premiere. Monk, still dealing with the passing of Dr. Kroger, decides to buy an old house to get away from a neighbor girl who is playing the same song on her piano over and over. Brad Garrett (‘Til Death) guest stars as a handyman that Monk hires to reposition a light fixture. Plays again later.

Psych (USA): Season Premiere. Shawn’s mom is back in town, she played by Cybil Shepard (Moonlighting), and he is trying to deal with that. Meanwhile, he is also trying to keep Gus from quitting the detective agency. Plays again later. I will have more from my visit to the set of Psych, photos and interviews, posted once I can actually reliably post to my site. As I type this, I have no idea whether I will be able to post it or not.
