On cable tonight, A&E has the second season premiere of Paranormal State, Discovery Channel has Shark Week specials Surviving Sharks and Day of the Shark, HBO has a The Recruiter special, History Channel has a Prehistoric Monsters Revealed special, and MTV has the Kanye West Presents: Homecoming special.

The Big Bang Theory (CBS): Repeat. This was a great episode, where the guys buy a time machine that turns out to be a lot bigger than they thought, in “The Nerdvanna Annihilation.”
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Repeat. Barney finds out that Ted and Robin have been keeping a secret from the rest of the gang, in “Something Blue” from season two.

House (FOX): Repeat. House puts a new spin on the holiday gift exchange, in “It’s A Wonderful Lie” from this past season.

CSI: Miami (CBS): Repeat. The team thinks it has closed a case before it has, in “Born to Kill” from season five.

Bones (FOX): Repeat. Brennan and Booth are investigating the death of a college basketball player who was crushed to death under the bleachers, in “Player Under Pressure” from this past season.

Two and a Half Men (CBS): Repeat. Alan tries to get back at Charlie after he learns that Charlie stole his high school girlfriend, in “Kinda Like Necrophilia” from this past season.
