On cable tonight, Hallmark Channel has the TV movie premiere of Accidental Friendship, HBO has a Ricky Gervais: Out of England comedy special, History has a The Greatest Tunnel Ever Built special, Lifetime has the TV movie premiere of The Two Mr. Kissels, and TBS has two new episodes of The Bill Engvall Show.

Prime Pick

Saturday Night College Football (ABC): Oklahoma State (9) at Colorado or Boston College at Florida State (19) depending on your region. The broadcast is scheduled to start around 8:00 p.m. ET.

Solid Selections

Knight Rider (NBC): Repeat. This past Wednesday’s episode, “I Want to Rock and Roll All Knight” replays. If you’re not into football and have cable, then in this time period you should really skip this and watch The Bill Engvall Show on TBS, cause it is really sad when this is the second best option on the networks.

The Office (NBC): Repeat. The Halloween episode from this season, “Employee Transfer,” replays. The opening with Pam as the only one at corporate in a costume is hilarious. Runs 30 minutes.
Saturday Night Live (NBC): Repeat. Anna Faris was the host and the musical guest was Duffy. Runs 90 minutes.

Cable Choice

The Bill Engvall Show (TBS): New. Bill is trying to get the family in the Christmas spirit. Plays again late night Monday. I got a chance to watch both of these episodes and if you like the show, you will enjoy them. Even if you haven’t watched before, at least they are new and will give you a few laughs.
The Bill Engvall Show (TBS): New. Susan starts doing some of Bill’s home repair projects and he starts feeling like less than the man of the house. Plays again late night Monday.

Thanksgiving Unwrapped (Food Network): Repeat. Find out how some of your favorite holiday foods are made. Plays again later.

Trading Spaces (TLC): New. Two firefighters go at it to see who is the hardest worker. Plays again later.

Other Options

  • The Andromeda Strain (A&E): Repeat. Based on the Michael Crichton about a deadly pathogen that starts spreading in Utah after a satellite falls and stars Benjamin Bratt (The Cleaner) and Eric McCormack (Will & Grace). Runs four hours. Plays twice.
  • The Two Mr. Kissels (A&E): Premiere. Stars John Stamos (ER) and Robin Tunney (The Mentalist). It is the story of the murders of the Kissel brothers and the events surrounding them. Runs two hours.
