Prime Picks

24 (FOX): Season Finale. The final two hours of the seventh season unfold, as Jack and his daughter are in trouble from the people Tony is working for. Runs two hours.

Medium (NBC): New. Allison is dreaming about a young woman that was once rescued by Cynthia Keener.

Solid Selections

Rules of Engagement (CBS): New. Jeff sells his car and Audrey thinks they should do something fun with the money.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Season Finale. Ted is thinking about pursuing a different career, while Marshall is trying to get him to go up to the roof for a surprise birthday party for him.

Two and a Half Men (CBS): Season Finale. Charlie is confused after he finds out that Mia is back in town. Judith ends up in the hospital. Runs 31 minutes.
Rules of Engagement (CBS): Season Finale. Jeff starts to think that he and Audrey aren’t very adventurous and maybe that should change. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes.

CSI: Miami (CBS): Season Finale. Horatio is trying to keep Yelina safe. Delko gets involved with his dangerous father even though Calleigh doesn’t want him to do so.

Cable Choices

Greek (ABC Family): New. Rusty is doing his community service and comes across a clue to a secret society that Cappie has been looking for since he was a freshman. Plays again later.

Unwrapped (Food Network): New. Marc checks out some of your favorite “Picnic Basket” items. A repeat episode about “Picnic” foods follows. Both episodes play again later.

Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): Repeats. Guy checks out some places with “Big Flavor” and then decides to “Return to Route 66.” Both play again later.

Other Options

  • Good Eats (Food Network): New. Alton cooks up some spaghetti with meat sauce while talking about its origins. Plays again later.
  • Gossip Girl (The CW): Season Finale. Serena is searching for Gossip Girl. Blair takes one last shot at Chuck. Rufus and Lily actually talk. Dan just wants to graduate and be done with high school. Jenny wants to do away with the Queen Bee hierarchy at school for next year. I’ve seen tonight’s episode and it does what the show does best, even if it is a totally bizarre world they live in. Lots of big developments that lay the ground work for next season.
  • One Tree Hill (The CW): Season Finale. Lucas rushes Peyton to the hospital. The Chief’s coach calls in Nathan. Mia’s album comes out. Brooke may get what she’s always wanted. If you like this show, you will probably like this season ender. It runs at a bit of a different pace than an episode usually does. The one thing I will say about it is that I thought it would have worked really well as a series finale episode.
