Over on cable, A&E has the second season finale of Manhunters and Animal Planet has a The Tiger Next Door special.
Scheduled to be on TV Talk today at 4:00 p.m. PT to talk about the week in TV with host Shaun Daily and fellow TVtimesThree partner Amrie of My Take on TV. The show runs from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. PT and I am usually on right about the halfway point.

The Vampire Diaries (The CW): New. Matt’s mother, played by Melinda Clarke (The O.C.), comes back to town to his surprise. Elena and Stefan don’t know what to make of Damon’s new attitude. Elena begins to search for more info on her birth mother. I’ve heard from people that got to see this episode when it was screened at Paley Fest that it is excellent and one of the best of the season. Here’s hoping they are right.
Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): New. Hunt begins to deal with his past once again after a patient wants to end her life. Arizona and Callie seem to be on different paths. Richard continues to adjust to his new position. Runs 61 minutes.
Private Practice (ABC): New. A surrogate mother is on life support and the hospital must keep her that way to keep the babies alive. Naomi has learned about Sam and Addison’s feelings for each other. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

Community (NBC): New. Britta tries to change her perception of being a buzzkill, which leads to a prank that goes awry.
Parks & Recreation (NBC): New. Leslie is putting together a picnic lunch for Ron and former directors of the Parks department.
The Office (NBC): New. Michael attempts to impress a friend of Jim and Pam. Erin and Andy are trying to keep their budding relationship a secret.
30 Rock (NBC): New. Floyd is back with some big news. Kenneth is telling Jenna and Tracy stories from his childhood.
Ace of Cakes (Food Network): Repeat. Duff gets a new Man Cave designed basement. A repeat episode plays right before. Both play again later.

- FlashForward (ABC): New. Aaron wants to know why a black-ops unit is looking for his daughter. Mark continues to question Lloyd about their conversation during the blackout. Zoey wants to figure out how to change Demetri’s fate.
