Prime Picks
NCIS (CBS): New. Fornell helps the team investigate when the second job of a polygraph specialist leads to murder.
Glee (FOX): New. Kurt tries to set his dad up with someone. Guest star Kristin Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies) returns as April to help out the glee club.
Justified (FX): New. Raylan stops a hit on Ava, but learns she may not have been the target. Runs 61 minutes. Plays twice and again later. This is the episode that I hope puts to rest the talk of this show not being serialized enough. Lots of good stuff in the episode, but mostly I liked that the case of the week and the on going storyline merge into one this week.
Solid Selections
90210 (The CW): New. Ryan O’Neal (Bones) guest-stars as Teddy’s father. Liam is trying to rebuild his relationship with his father. Debby and Harry talk about their relationship.
NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS): New. New LAPD liaison Det. Deeks joins the team to help find someone connected to the murder of a Navy officer.
The Good Wife (CBS): New. Alicia is struggling with whether or not to use personal information in a case when she goes up against her former boss in court.
Other Options
- Chopped (Food Network): New. Jumbo shrimp and cuts of beef cause problems for the four contestants. Plays again later.
- Law & Order: Criminal Intent (USA): New. The detectives are looking into what looks to be a mob hit, but it turns out to be a whole lot more. Plays again later.
- Life Unexpected (The CW): Repeat. The “Formal Reformed” episode replays, where Jones asks Lux to the Winter Formal, which freaks out Baze and Cate who are dealing with the memories of their Winter Formal.
- Lost (ABC): Repeat. The “Ab Aeterno” episode from earlier this season replays, where we learn about Richard’s history. Runs 62 minutes.
- Parenthood (NBC): New. Adam is left in charge of the house for the weekend after Kristina goes back to work. Crosby takes Jasmine out on a date.
- Survivors (BBC America): Season Finale. It looks like a new virus strain is on the loose and the lab’s work becomes even more important. Plays again later. This will actually end up being the series finale as well, as it was not picked up for a third season.
- V (ABC): New. Erica and the rest find out that the Vs have a list of Fifth Column member names. Ryan reveals some things to Val. Starts two minutes after the hour and runs 58 minutes.
