Tonight on the Tube: One Tree Hill, Lost and CSI: NY

For a night with this many good TV shows, how is it that there is practically nothing worth watching on in the first hour of primetime? So, what TV shows will you be watching tonight?

Prime Picks

One Tree Hill (WB): Missed last week’s episode because of a recording error, plenty of video but not much audio. That is the good thing about a show like this you can jump right back in and be caught back up in no time at all.

Lost (ABC): Tonight Michael goes off in search of Walt by himself and soon discovers he is not alone. Meanwhile those who captured Sawyer and Jin want to be taken to the camp with the other castaways.

CSI: NY (CBS): How do you end up with a sliver of wood in your heart, tune in tonight and see what the team comes up with.

Solid Selections

George Lopez (ABC): A consistently funny situation comedy.
Freddie (ABC): Tonight is the second episode of this show, which according to the commercial beat out all the other comedies on this night. Unless this episode is much better it won’t be for long.

Veronica Mars (UPN): Last week Veronica figured that the bus crash was meant for her. This week she helps a woman find out if her new boyfriend is only after her money.

Invasion (ABC): This is the creepiest of the new alien invasion type show but they need to start letting the viewers in a little bit of what is happening as they are starting to lose my interest in what is happening.

Other Options

Still Standing (CBS): Haven’t watched this show in a while but it has to be better than E-Ring.
Yes, Dear (CBS): Same reasoning as above.

Related (WB): This week we find Ginnie trying to help Ann fix a broken heart by talking to her ex, which only ends up creating tension between her and Ann.

Law & Order (NBC): Tonight the Detectives find that a prostitute that was murdered actually was a reporter who was working undercover in an attempt to expose a gang.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): Emeril cooks up some big fat Greek recipes on the show tonight.

Mad Money (CNBC): Get some help picking some winners for that stock portfolio and whatever you do don’t miss the lightning round.

Good Eats (Food Network): Learn all you could ever want to know about the meatball tonight with Alton.
Good Eats (Food Network): In this repeat find out about stuffed pasta.

Notes

Astros and Cardinals tonight on Fox. Can the Astros close it out or will they still be reeling from the big loss in the last game.
