FOX perks up the early fall season with the return of Bones and the series premiere of Justice. It looks like there will be something worth actually watching on Wednesday in the first hour of primetime. This was the home of Martha before she switched with E-Ring. Where you could catch Freddie after George Lopez. Where CBS tried Out of Practice and Courting Alex after canceling Yes, Dear and Still Standing, which only lasted one week. It is a sad state when the best show on was One Tree Hill by default. With Bones and soon 30 Rock on NBC there will actually be a choice. Bones (FOX): Season Premiere. Booth and Bones investigate a train crash that includes in its victim list a senator and a high-profile businessman. Bones and the gang get a new boss at the institute.

Justice (FOX): Series Premiere. A team of expensive lawyers takes on high profile cases.

CSI: NY (CBS): Repeat. In this episode the team investigates a dancer who fell from the sky and landed on a car.
