Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (NBC): Series Premiere. Aaron Sorkin (Creator/Writer of The West Wing, Sports Night) brings his writing back to NBC with this look behind the scenes of an SNL type show. It stars Matthew Perry (Friends) and Bradley Whitford (The West Wing) as two former writers of the show who are brought back to try and save it after the executive producer of the show goes off live on the air one night.

The Class (CBS): Series Premiere. A guy invites members of his third grade class over for a surprise party for his girlfriend to commemorate the day they met twenty years ago. Hilarity is supposed to ensue.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Season Premiere. Lily has headed off to San Francisco while the rest of the gang tries to cheer up Marshall.
Two and a Half Men (CBS): Season Premiere. Charlie is back to his bachelor ways while Alan has trouble dealing with his second divorce. Guess that quickie marriage didn’t work out.
The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): Season Premiere. Ritchie thinks his parents have gotten back together.
CSI: Miami (CBS): Season Premiere. Horatio and Delko have headed down to Brazil in search of the person who killed Marisol.
