Tonight on the Tube: Las Vegas, Numb3rs and a Holiday Themed Monk

Monk: The Obsessive Compulsive Collection - Seasons One - FourVanished has been banished to the web for its final three episodes. A new episode will be released each Friday starting today. In better news USA has a holiday themed episode of Monk to get you ready for the return of the show in January. And the Heroes episode from Monday replays on the Sci Fi Channel before news episodes of Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica. Were you watching Vanished? Will you follow it to the web to see how things turned out? Looks like TV viewers weren’t really interested in shows about people who had been kidnapped and the conspiracies that surrounded them. Kidnapped and Vanished both were sent to the web to finish out their 13 episodes.

Prime Picks

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Repeat. George figures out that something is wrong with Burke and that Cristina is covering for him. The Chief is going to stop seeing Meredith’s mom and try and get back with his wife. Alex puts a move on Izzie but it is still to soon for her.

Las Vegas (NBC): New. It is crossover time at the Montecito as Woody and Jordan from Crossing Jordan come to town on the trail of a murderer. This is extremely weird seeing how Crossing Jordan ended last season and that it has yet to air this season. Guess this takes place after Jordan clears herself of the murder of her ex-boyfriend.

Numb3rs (CBS): New. Kathy Najimy (Sister Act) joins the cast as the head of the Math Department at CalSci. She wants Charlie to spend more time in the department and less time working with the FBI. I bet that doesn’t go over very well.

Solid Selections

Deal or No Deal (NBC): New. Cases are chosen, the banker makes offers and the person pushes their luck to far and goes home with less then they could have.

Close to Home (CBS): New. Annabeth gets a case that parallels events from her life and the others worry that she is taking her case to personally.

Law & Order (NBC): New. A convicted mass murderer escapes from jail and kills again before detectives can track him down.

Cable Choices

Doctor Who (Sci Fi): New. Rose gets trapped in a black hole.

Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi): New. A long thought of as dead pilot escapes from the Cylons and returns to Galactica. He had been sent out on a secret mission.

Monk (USA): New. Watch this special holiday themed episode where Monk tries to reconcile with his estranged father played by Dan Hedaya (Cheers).

Other Options

  • Paula’s Party (Food Network): New. Chicken and ribs are prepared.
  • Rachael Ray’s Thanksgiving in 60 II (Food Network): Repeat. Rachael puts together a Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings in an hour.
