Helping You Find the Prime in Primetime
How do you think they did? They were much better than last week, that’s for sure. The ladies get there shot tonight; to show they are as good as they looked last week.
The bottom two or three performances really stood out this week. They were Brandon Rogers, Jared Cotter and Sanjaya Malakar. Unfortunately, it looks like another of the three contestants from the Seattle area will be packing there bags like Amy Krebs last week. Even though Sanjaya was in the top four vote getters last week, he should definitely be one of the two leaving the show.
Sundance Head on the other hand really picked it up and showed why the judges picked him to be in this competition. It was about time, as he would not of lasted another week with a bad performance.
So, how did the 10 remaining guys performances rank this week? Well, let’s see.
I say Jared Cotter and Sanjaya Malakar will be the ones leaving, or at least the ones who should be leaving. Either Phil Stacey or Brandon Rogers could easily be on their way out as well. Who do you think had the best performance of the 10 remaining guys on American Idol Season 6? Who would you tell to pack their bags?

Did you watch Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? It has an interesting premise, questions that you think would be easy and a comedian as host. Unfortunately, it suffers from what most of the present crop of game shows suffer from, artificial pauses and padding to try and create drama. In the half hour premiere there were a total of only six questions posed. The first guy stopped after three correct when he didn’t know what the answer to the fourth was. The second contestant answered two correctly before the show was over. She will get her crack at a third question tonight? That is not a whole lot of action. When the show moves to an hour long, it will seem even worse. Much like all the dilly-dallying around they do on 1 vs. 100. They really need to pick up the pace a bit. What did you think of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?

What will you be watching tonight?

Dog the Bounty Hunter and Magnum P.I. had been hired to find a list of new TV shows that were to be released on DVD today. The Immortal Captain N: The Game Master had bogged down Da Vinci’s Inquest into DVD sets of TV shows. The information needed to be added to The Rockford Files for safekeeping, as the The State Within the TV on DVD industry had become quite fragmented. Magnum got a tip from one of the Captain’s former Girlfriends that he was hiding out At the Hotel in Reno with a list that included: The Doris Day Show, The Flip Wilson Show and many others. The Captain had hoped hiding in a haunted hotel would help him. Yet, this did not deter the Dog, as he made a quick call to Reno 911! and had the Ghostbusters sent out as backup. A short time later they emerged with the list of TV on DVD sets that are available today, February 27th, which you can see for yourself below.

Tonight the 10 remaining guys sing again. Neither of the two I thought should have gone was in the bottom two. The two that were sent packing, Paul Kim and Rudy Cardenas, were both in my bottom half of performances from last week though. The guys really need to bring it tonight. They were completely outshined by the ladies last week. How long do you think that Sundance Head guy can stay in this competition? He hasn’t sung anything well since his initial audition. If he doesn’t pull something spectacular off tonight, he has got to go. Who are your favorite American Idol guys?
NCIS (CBS): New. A mausoleum at a military cemetery is blown up and a bunch of human remains are found. It could be the work of a serial killer.
Veronica Mars (The CW): New. This will be the last new episode for a bit as Veronica Mars takes a few weeks off, so the Pussycat Dolls can search for their next doll. Tonight Keith questions and Mindy and afterward she thinks Hank Landry killed her husband, the Dean. Keith then arrests Prof. Landry. Veronica is not so sure that he is the right guy. Who do you think killed the Dean? Did you know that you can watch Veronica Mars and other shows at The CW website.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): New. Kim Delaney (NYPD Blue) guests as a police captain who questions Benson after she goes out of her jurisdiction to investigate a rape.
American Idol (FOX): New. The remaining 10 guys sing tonight. Runs 90 minutes.
