Download Vernica Mars Episodes at Amazon UnboxTonight the 10 remaining guys sing again. Neither of the two I thought should have gone was in the bottom two. The two that were sent packing, Paul Kim and Rudy Cardenas, were both in my bottom half of performances from last week though. The guys really need to bring it tonight. They were completely outshined by the ladies last week. How long do you think that Sundance Head guy can stay in this competition? He hasn’t sung anything well since his initial audition. If he doesn’t pull something spectacular off tonight, he has got to go. Who are your favorite American Idol guys?

Prime Picks

NCIS (CBS): New. A mausoleum at a military cemetery is blown up and a bunch of human remains are found. It could be the work of a serial killer.

Veronica Mars (The CW): New. This will be the last new episode for a bit as Veronica Mars takes a few weeks off, so the Pussycat Dolls can search for their next doll. Tonight Keith questions and Mindy and afterward she thinks Hank Landry killed her husband, the Dean. Keith then arrests Prof. Landry. Veronica is not so sure that he is the right guy. Who do you think killed the Dean? Did you know that you can watch Veronica Mars and other shows at The CW website.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): New. Kim Delaney (NYPD Blue) guests as a police captain who questions Benson after she goes out of her jurisdiction to investigate a rape.

Solid Selections

American Idol (FOX): New. The remaining 10 guys sing tonight. Runs 90 minutes.
Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (FOX): Series Premiere. New game show where contestants are asked questions from grade school text books in an attempt to win money. Runs 30 minutes.

Criminal Minds (CBS): Repeat. This episode had a serial bomber running around my hometown of Seattle. The BAU team is called in to help put an end to it.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): Repeat. Emeril cooks up some Latin dishes.

The Closer (TNT): Repeat. The two hour season two finale, “Serving the King I & II,” replays tonight. Brenda is trying to solve a murder but is on administrative leave.

Other Options

  • Dirt (FX): New. The staff at the magazine is taken hostage, including Lucy. Runs 65 minutes and plays twice.
  • Dirty Jobs (Discovery Channel): New. A salt mine is worked.
  • Gilmore Girls (The CW): New. Rory is getting an interview at the New York Times while Logan finally comes clean about his business. Luke finds out that his boat is being sold.
  • Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): New. A journalist has been poisoned and he tries to help the detectives find who has killed him. That sounds a lot like last week’s episode of NCIS?
  • Rachael Ray’s Tasty Travels (Food Network): New. Get some tips on traveling to Boston.
  • The Unit (CBS): New. A mission takes place by the dark of the moon.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has doubleheader college basketball with Michigan State at Michigan followed by Florida at Tennessee.
  • NBA TV has the Phoenix Suns at the Indiana Pacers.
  • Versus has the Dallas Stars at the Tampa Bay Lightning in NHL action.
