Tonight on the Tube: Lights, Minds, Lost, Bones, Idol and Psych

American Idol Poster - Simon Cowell, Ryan Seacrest, Randy Jackson and Paula AbdulI had no idea how brutal the Hollywood round was on American Idol. You wait in line for a couple of days. After a few pre-auditions you get into see the big three. You sing for them and walk out of the room with a golden ticket. That gets you into the Hollywood round where you get thirty seconds to show the judges you should get to stay. That is a pretty brutal process. If you don’t totally bring it right there and then you are on your way home. Sending the first six ladies home was quite away to start things off and they sure had a lot of females to send home considering it was like 2 to 1 women to men that made it to Hollywood. Is there anyone that was dismissed last night that you thought should still be there? Anyone that you saw that you can’t believe still is?

Cable Choices

Psych (Sci Fi): Repeats. The USA Network original show gets a four-episode mini-marathon on the Sci Fi Channel tonight. This is one really fun show, which has really started to gel to together in the last few episodes. If you haven’t gotten a chance to check this show out after Monk on Friday nights, it is worth a look. The last of the four episodes tonight is the episode from last Friday, which had the guys working the defense in a court case instead of helping the cops as per usual.
