Tonight on the Tube: Season Finale of Monk and Psych on USA

by @ 4:43 am. Filed under Tonight on the Tube

Las Vegas Deck of Playing Cards
Tonight USA Network has the season finale of both Monk and Psych. I have always enjoyed Monk but Psych has become one of my favorites. The cast has really come together and hopefully we will see them solving cases for years to come. Shawn, Gus and the rest will return for a second season this summer. What do you think of Psych? Speaking of returns, Las Vegas will be back for a fifth season. Although, without James Caan and Nikki Cox.

Prime Picks

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Repeat. This episode, “Begin the Begin,” from season 2 has Izzie falling for Denny and Cristina complaining about work limit.

Las Vegas (NBC): New. Sam owes a whole bunch of back taxes and Ed is starting to talk about retiring. James Caan and Nikki Cox will not be back next year when Las Vegas returns for its fifth season. What do you think about the show without Ed and Mary?

Numb3rs (CBS): Repeat. A murder at a horse track is investigated.

Solid Selections

1 vs. 100 (NBC): New. People answer questions against the mob in an attempt to win money.

Close to Home (CBS): Repeat. A man is prosecuted for the attempted murder of his teenage neighbor. It turns out there was a lot more to the story than Annabeth first thought.

Law & Order (NBC): Repeat. An executive at a body armor company is gunned down. It looks like it may have something to do with his company producing faulty products.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): Repeat. Emeril’s kitchen is red hot tonight.

Monk (USA): Season Finale. Monk ends up at the hospital with a nosebleed and while there, he hears of a murdered doctor. He naturally joins in the investigation and his own life in up in peril. Plays again later.

Psych (USA): Season Finale. Shawn and Gus help Juliet investigate the death of a sorority girl. Shawn and a sorority should be quite a lot of fun and amusement. Plays again later.

Other Options

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (Bravo): Released 1986. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. It was referenced in last week’s Psych by Shawn and a doctor a couple of week’s ago on Two and a Half Men, after Alan (Jon Cryer) pretended to be Matthew Broderick to speed things up for Charlie at the emergency room.
